Most families have one or more animals such as dogs, cats, birds and so on as their pets. Before buying animals as pets, people often consider their price in order to ensure that they are paying the right price for those pets and not getting cheated by any chance. People often choose pets that are easy to breed and especially cheap. However, there are many species that are estimated to cost thousands of dollars. Are you willing to buy a white lion cub for $138,000, a Tibetan mastiff for $582,000, or a dog for $155,000? You may not, but a lot of people are willing to purchase such extremely expensive friends. The amount of cash they spend on them is truly incredible.


Tibetan Mastiff – $582,000   , The dog named “Yangtze River Number Two” is the most expensive dog ever. It is estimated to cost around $582,000

White Lion Cub - $138,000  , These cubs look so cute. They can be found mostly in South Africa. These white lion cubs are considered as amongbeautiful creatures on Earth.

Chimpanzee - $55,000  ,Baby Chimps are not the cutest pets but these cute babies still attract a lot of people in recent years. They are bought for $50,000 - $75,000

Lavender Albino Ball Python – $40,000 ,It is rumored that an albino python in Africa is sold for $40,000


Palm Cockatoo – $16,000 ,The Palm Cockatoo is also named as a rare beauty. Most of them are owned by celebrities including David Roberts or Natalie Copp. The $16,000 Palm Cockatoo lives in New Guinea and northern Queensland, Australia

Sir Lancelot Encore - $155,000 ,Edgar and Nina Otto won a dog at Bio-Arts auction in San Francisco for $155,000. The dog called Lancelot Encore is made up of the same DNA that the couple’s beloved dog Lancelot which died of cancer.

Stag Beetle - $89,000 ,The stag beetle is one of 1,200 species of beetle in the Lucanidae family. The insect is well-known for its blood curling mandibles. This Japanese breeder of the beetle was paid $89,000 for the rare creature.


Bengal cats - $42,000 ,Most of Bengal cats were sold for $800-$1500 in the ballpark. However, a second generation cat was sold for unusual high price of $42,000 to an unknown woman in London, England in 1998
